Post Name: Graduate Apprentice (Electrical)

Graduation in Electrical Engineering (04 years full-time course) from any Institute recognized by the AICTE.

Post Name: Technician Apprentice (Electrical)

Diploma in Electrical Engineering or Technology (03 years full-time course) from any institute recognized by the West Bengal State Council of Technical Education.

টেকনিশিয়ান অ্যাপ্রেন্টিস (ইলেকট্রিক্যাল) পদের ক্ষেত্রে, ওয়েস্ট বেঙ্গল স্টেট কাউন্সিল অফ টেকনিক্যাল এডুকেশন দ্বারা স্বীকৃত যে কোনও প্রতিষ্ঠান থেকে ইলেকট্রিক্যাল ইঞ্জিনিয়ারিং বিভাগে ডিপ্লোমা (03 বছরের পূর্ণকালীন কোর্স)। 

যেসব প্রার্থী ২০২০, ২০২১ ও ২০২২ সালে ইলেকট্রিক্যাল ইঞ্জিনিয়ারিং বিভাগে স্নাতক/ডিপ্লোমা পাস করেছেন, তারা কেবল আবেদন করতে পারবেন।]

The monthly stipend will be paid as per the below-mentioned prescribed rates governed by the Apprenticeship Act, 1961.

• Graduate Apprentice (Electrical) - Rs. 9,000/-

• Technician Apprentice (Electrical) - Rs. 8,000/-.

How To Apply (কিভাবে আবেদন করবেন)

Candidates are required to register themselves in the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) web portal (https://portal.mhrdnats.gov.in) and apply for “West Bengal State Electricity Transmission Company Limited” from the establishment list in the said portal using their NATS login ID within 31.01.2023 (upto 4.00 P.M.).

The candidates are required to update their details in the NATS portal, especially the Name, Mobile Number, E-mail ID, Percentage of Mark, Father’s Name, Community/Caste, and Year of Passing.

Selection Procedure (নির্বাচন পদ্ধতি)

The selection shall be made based on merit from the list of registered candidates, downloaded from the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) web portal: https://portal.mhrdnats.gov.in. 

Initial Screening of the candidates will be made based on the details provided by them subject to verification and checking at a later stage.

The short-listed candidates will be called for document verification at the Corp. Office of WBSETCL at Vidyut Bhawan, Salt Lake on the date & time, as to be intimated to him/her in his/her email id, registered with the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) web portal.

Place of Training:

Candidates will be posted for training at Substations/Offices of the Company across the state of West Bengal.
