Educational Qualification (শিক্ষাগত যোগ্যতা)

The candidate must have passed Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized Indian University/Institution.

The min. age of candidates shall be 21 years (completed) as on 01.01.2023. The maximum age of candidates shall not be more than 30 years (Candidates must have been born not earlier than 02.01.1993 and not later than 01.01.2002 both days inclusive only are eligible ). Age relaxation will be given as per the Rules of the Government.

How To Apply (কিভাবে আবেদন করবেন)

Candidates can apply online for these posts directly from the official website of the organization or by clicking the links given below from 15/01/2023 to 31/01/2023. Candidates have a valid personal email ID and mobile no. which should be kept active till the completion of this recruitment process.

Before applying online, candidates should scan the following documents:

1) Photograph (4.5cm × 3.5cm),

2) Signature (with black ink),

3) Left thumb impression (on white paper with black or blue ink),

4) A handwritten declaration (on a white paper with black ink).

Follow the following complete steps for online application:

1) First, visit the LIC’s website www.licindia.in, and click on ‘Careers’ to open the link “ Recruitment of AAO(Generalist) 2023".

2) It redirects the candidates to the online registration page.

3) Then, to register the application, choose the tab "Click here for New Registration" and enter your Name, Contact details, and Email-Id.

4) Now a Provisional Registration Number and Password will be generated by the system and displayed on the screen.

5) Candidate should note down the Provisional Registration Number and Password.

6) An Email & SMS indicating the Provisional Registration number and Password will also be sent.

7) In case the candidate is unable to complete the application form in one go, he/she can save the data already entered by choosing the "Save & Next" tab.

8) Candidates are advised to carefully fill and verify the details filled in the online application themselves as no change will be possible/ entertained after clicking the "Complete Registration" button.

9) Validate your details and Save your application by clicking the 'Validate your details' and 'Save & Next' button.

10) Candidates can proceed to upload Photo & Signature as per the specifications.

11) Candidates can proceed to fill other details of the Application Form.

12) Click on the Preview Tab to preview and verify the entire application form before final submission.

13) Modify details, if required, and click on 'Final Submit Only' after verifying and ensuring that the photograph, signature uploaded and other details filled by you are correct.

14) Click on the 'Payment' Tab and proceed for payment.

15) Click on the 'Submit' button.

16) On successful completion of the transaction, an e-Receipt will be generated. Candidates are required to take a printout of the e-Receipt and online Application Form containing fee details.

For SC/ST/ PwBD candidates: Rs. 85/- +Transaction Charges + GST.

For all other candidates: Rs. 700/- + Transaction Charges + GST.

Selection Procedure (নির্বাচন পদ্ধতি)

Selection of candidates will be done through a three-tiered process and subsequent Pre-recruitment Medical examination.

1) Phase-I: Preliminary Examination,

2) Phase-II: Main Examination,

3) Phase-III: Interview.

Marks obtained in the Main Examination only of candidates will be considered for shortlisting for interview.
